Multex, 100 William
“As you know Multex has been a multi-floor tenant at 100 William Street for several years. When we first moved into the building we felt good about out decision and were appreciative of the great floor plan which only contains four supporting columns for each 20,000 square foot of floor space. This allowed us great flexibility when planning out our floors and we believe we achieved an excellent usage per square foot. After we moved in we realized how well this worked. This efficiency was a key factor in out decision to lease additional floors at 100 William Street.
As we began working with the building staff we began to realize that we were in a great building because of the staff of the building. It became clear that our day to day interactions with the building staff were based on mutual respect. When we had an air –conditioning fault at our data center on the 6th floor, the building engineers worked with us to keep the building air going after hours. Our redundant system had these problems late in the day and the building engineers stayed with us while we got technicians to repair our systems. We of course have since re-engineered our system so this fault will not occur, but the response by our staff was very much appreciated. This type of support exists at all levels. Even the cleaning staff is helpful and pleasant.
We would like to thank you as the building owners for working with us to find solutions to our problems. For example, after September 11, 2001 we desired to run additional electrical lines from our data center to a street location for additional redundancy. Even though this was never contemplated in our lease and the route from our to the street was “difficult” we worked together to find a solution. This type of openness and flexibility is very much valued by Multex.
In short we are very pleased with our decision to locate at 100 William and wanted to thank you and your staff.

“The Lighthouse management team has provided it's tenants with a superbly managed building. The relationship between the owners, the building manager and the tenants is very professional and yet extremely open and friendly.
Since I came to this building in 1999 I have had a very positive experience in dealing with not only the owners and the building manager, but also the building engineers, concierge,elevator operators and porters. They will always attend to my requests promptly and courteously. I have been in other building and the other experiences I have here are far better than those in the other buildings.
The owners and building manager are very receptive to any suggestions that I might have. When I asked for permission to have a blood drive in my companies premises, the owners gratefully offered a vacant floor so the entire building could participate.”
