For Immediate Release: Wednesday, September 21, 2005 Lighthouse Real Estate Ventures Acquires 60 Hempstead Avenue Lynbrook, NY September 21, 2005 -- Lighthouse Real Estate Ventures announced today that it has acquired 60 Hempstead Avenue in West Hempstead, Long Island. Lighthouse acquired its latest office building through a private portfolio divestiture. The purchase price was not disclosed. The 7-story, 80,000-sq. ft. building, also known as the Bank of America building, is accessibly located at the corner of Woodview Road, one block from the Long Island Railroad, adjacent to the Hempstead Golf and Country Club, and one block from Hempstead Turnpike. It is anchored by Bank of America which occupies a branch office as well as significant office space in the building. 60 Hempstead Avenue features ample parking for building tenants and guests. The building’s mechanical systems, including two elevators, have been completely overhauled and a new boiler and energy management controls have been installed. Renovation of the lobby is currently underway. The Bank of America building, at seven stories, is one of the tallest buildings in Nassau County and thus provides incomparable light and views in all directions.
